The support programs and services at Crouch assist community members to find support and access to help. We operate with a holistic approach, building on each person's capabilities, walking along side during challenges, and always building connections and relationships between and with individuals and their community. 

Support Services-Adults

Basic Needs

Our Basic Need Services are open from Tuesday-Friday from 9am - 4:30pm (closed noon - 1pm) No appointment necessary. Our services include:

  • Emergency Food Cupboard

    • We provide 5 items of non-perishable food, pet food when available and fruits and vegetables when available to help people get through a tight time.  One visit per month please.​

  • Emergency Baby Food and Diaper Bank

  • Information and Referrals - Income, Housing, Hydro, Mental Health

  • Support and Advocacy

    • Crouch Neighbourhood Resource is available to help community members with benefits applications, housing, taxes and more.  If you’re not sure if we can help, just ask us.  We can either help or refer you to someone who can.​

  • Clothing Vouchers

  • ​Food Bank depot, 3rd Thursday each month 1pm - 3pm at Impact Church, 220 Adelaide St.

Community Support Programs

Men's Lunch and Support Services Program:

Every Thursday, men from the Hamilton Road area are invited to take part in a meal and access various supports. Doors open at 11am, meal served at 12pm at Egerton Street Baptist Church at 209 Egerton Street. We have several community organization partners who offer foot care, health care, mental health and addiction supports.

 

Soul Food Collective: This six week program offers a variety of programming related to food, including gardening, cooking, and do-it-yourself home products. Learn how to budget for and prepare healthy, budget friendly meals.

Canadian Mental Health Association

Canadian Mental Health Association Middlesex is an on-site partner at Crouch. The program includes support from a mental health worker and access to weekly programming.

Offering: information and referrals and individual mental health consults 

 

CMHA provides three groups on a weekly basis at Crouch: 

 

  • The Women's Art Therapy Group; Tuesday's at 1:30pm

    • Registration required

  • Cards, Crafts and Games; Wednesday's 2-5pm

    • Enjoy playing cards, board games, or simple crafts.  Cards and Games is a great opportunity to meet new friends and spend some time enjoying the company of other community members.

  • Other groups delivered as requested

  • Individual Mental Health Consults Available

  • Community Events
