Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are the backbone of creating a Healthy Community.

We have hundreds of volunteers who put in thousands of program, event, and community development volunteer hours to make GREAT things happen in our community.  Over 38,000 hours in over 1,500 volunteer jobs was performed this past year!

There are numerous ways to volunteer at the Crouch Neighbourhood Resource Centre and with our programs and events throughout the community.  Volunteers can help periodically with community events, or volunteer weekly in programs.  Whatever your interest or time availability, there may be a volunteer job for you!

There are lots of reasons to volunteer:  Earn your volunteer hours, make a difference in the community, create meaning in your life by helping someone, gain experience for your resume, practice your English skills, gain recognition for your good works!

Student placements are also welcome at Crouch.  All of our programs take student placement each year through a variety of schools and academic programs.  Didn’t get your placement at Crouch during the school year?  Volunteer during the summer!  We’ve had several students enhance their resume and get the added experience they wanted by volunteering for the summer.
